Irrigation and Stock Wells in Idaho Falls, ID
Plan seasonal field, pasture, and stock demand with acreage, use records, and Idaho water-right review in view.
An irrigation or stock plan should show where water goes during the busiest month. We record acreage, crop or pasture pattern, animal count, trough locations, storage, existing wells, and any water-right number. The current domestic definition includes some stock demand and irrigation on one-half acre, subject to the 13,000-gallon-per-day limit. A larger farm, commercial use, or broader irrigation proposal can need an approved right before IDWR can move the well approval. We put that distinction on the worksheet rather than assuming a domestic path. Seasonal demand also guides pump controls, storage, and line layout. The final handoff lists facts, missing documents, and questions for the licensed driller or agency.
